This page covers both our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service in plain language. It isn't a substitute for formal legal advice, but it explains honestly how the site works and what data it collects.
Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Leaderboard nicknames and scores — if you submit a high score, only the nickname you type and your score are stored. No sign-in required, no personal information beyond what you voluntarily type.
- Basic site analytics — via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites.
- Advertising data — this site shows ads via Google AdSense, which may use cookies to serve relevant ads. Google's own privacy policy governs that data.
- Purchase information — payment is processed entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't require accounts or logins. We don't collect more than what's described above.
Your choices
You can play every game without submitting a leaderboard score. If you've submitted a score and want it removed, contact us and we'll take care of it.
Third-party services used on this site
- Google AdSense (advertising)
- Cloudflare Web Analytics (site analytics)
- Google Firebase (leaderboard storage)
- Stripe (payment processing)
Terms of Service
Using the site
Crackin' Puzzles is provided for personal entertainment. You're welcome to play, share, and enjoy the games — but the puzzles, game logic, and site content are not to be copied or redistributed without permission.
Leaderboards
Leaderboard nicknames are public and visible to anyone who visits the site. Don't submit inappropriate or offensive nicknames — entries that violate this may be removed without notice.
Digital purchases
Digital products (such as the trivia book PDF) are delivered instantly upon successful payment. Because the product is delivered immediately as a digital file, purchases are generally non-refundable once the download has occurred, except where required by applicable consumer law.
No guarantees
This site is run independently and provided "as is." While we take care to keep it accurate and running smoothly, we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every puzzle is completely error-free — though we do work to fix anything reported.
Changes
This page may be updated from time to time as the site grows. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the current version.
